What does Forma improve?
At Tracey Bell, we can use Forma on the following areas:

How does Forma work?
The radio frequency therapy used by Forma works by delivering heat beneath the surface of the skin, tightening collagen and breaking down fat cells. As no lights or lasers are present, the treatment can be done on any skin type. Your body then continues to produce collagen over several months following treatment, resulting in a more youthful appearance.
Each Forma treatment head has a temperature gauge built into it to ensure the clinician can maintain control and ensure that no areas are under or over treated. Your clinician guides the treatment head over the selected areas until the specific temperature is reached and maintained, and the radio frequency can penetrate and heat the skin.
How many treatments will I need?
At Tracey Bell, Forma treatments are done as a series, with one session a week up to a total of six treatments. Your clinician will be able to advise on the amount of treatments you will need based on the condition of your skin and the area being treated. Each procedure takes between 30-60 minutes. Forma treatments can be done on their own or combined with other treatments for maximum results.
Forma should be done in conjunction with regular exercise and healthy eating. You will notice an improvement to your skin with each treatment in the series. The results are not permanent, and will require maintenance treatments for the long term, but can be prolonged by regularly using a moisturiser with an SPF of 30+.
Is Forma treatment painful?
Forma treatment is essentially pain free, and requires no downtime afterwards. The feeling is similar to a hot stone massage, and you feel just a warm heat and the movement of the treatment head. Many patients have reported feeling relaxed during the procedure. Some redness may be seen in the treated area following Forma treatment, but this is short-lived.
