What Are Wegovy and Mounjaro?
Wegovy (Semaglutide)
Wegovy is a once-weekly injection containing Semaglutide, which mimics a GLP-1 receptor agonist. This hormone:- Reduces appetite, helping to control portion sizes and cravings

Mounjaro (Tirzepatide)
Mounjaro is a newer weight loss injection that targets both GLP-1 and GIP receptors — a unique dual-action approach that enhances weight loss beyond traditional GLP-1-only medications like Wegovy.

Your weight loss treatment
Step 1
Once you have taken the first step to your ideal healthy weight and got in touch with us at Tracey Bell, we will invite you for a virtual or in-clinic consultation. We will carry out a full assessment to ensure you are suitable for treatment and give you the opportunity to ask any questions. We typically see patients with a BMI greater than 27.
If you are a suitable candidate, we create a bespoke treatment plan and begin your weight loss journey. We discuss in detail exactly what you need to do and how to take your medication or injection.
You will notice your appetite begins to reduce after around day 3-7, as the treatment begins to take effect. We also encourage you to start moving more.
Step 2
During your first months of treatment, we will monitor your progress and make any adjustments to the medication if needed.
After around eight weeks, your new healthy habits will have become routine. We will still be on hand for support if needed though.
Step 3
Once you have celebrated reaching your ideal healthy weight, we will help you maintain this for the long term. You have been equipped with the new healthy habits for life, and we’re happy to support your weight maintenance.

The products are all prescription only medications. The delivery of the drug is via a simple pen injection normally once a week. Certain medical conditions may be a contraindication to this method of weight loss and will be discussed in consultation.
