Ultherapy is relatively pain-free. Ultherapy stimulates elastic and collagen tissue. The fibroblasts in the skin are stimulated to produce pro-collagen, the precursor to collagen that helps to lift and tighten the skin.
Ultherapy is approved by the FDA for lifting the skin. The best results of ultherapy are seen after two to three months. Some of the side-effects that can be seen are minor bruising and swelling in some people.
