Dr Bell and the team are members of the International Institute of Dental Trauma and follow worldwide guidelines on all types of dental trauma such as avulsion, subluxation, fracture and all types of dental hard tissue and soft tissue damage.
Our initial advice to anyone with dental trauma is to obtain advice quickly, contact your dentist immediately and take action.
Even teeth that have been lost can be re-implanted if they are retrieved.
If teeth have been fractured, roots can be saved and ultimately a smile restored.
Splints, bonding, root canal, observation and initial treatment planning are all important aspects of dental trauma.
