Merseyside dental, health and beauty chain, Tracey Bell, is to incorporate the make-up and blow-dry bar brand, Uptown Funk, into its Liverpool city centre outlet.
Southport-based Uptown Funk was founded by Julie Goodwin and her daughters and has been looking to set up a Liverpool operation.
From this month it will be based at the Tracey Bell clinic in Hanover Street, creating six jobs.
Dr. Bell said: “Our lunch-break beauty treatments, such as facials, manicures or HD brows are already incredibly successful and now we’ll be able to offer our clients the services of leading make-up artists and hairdressers with the addition of Uptown Funk’s blow-dry and beauty bar within the clinic.
“It’s fantastic to be able to offer our clients so many different treatments under one roof – from dental implants, teeth whitening, laser hair removal or Botox to the services of hairdressers and make-up artists.”
Ms Goodwin, who had worked with Tracey Bell before launching Uptown Funk and is a loyal Tracey Bell client, added: “Tracey and I have had a long-standing business friendship.”
